WARM

The creative brief was to design the future of art and design education at The Pratt Institute in the year 2040.


Research lead to the core insight that collaboration between diverse groups of people will be paramount in the future, as it is today. In 2040 student's from backgrounds we may consider unconventional will come together to learn. WARM aims to help find common ground and build empathetic relationships. Example persona's including student's impacted by the global climate crisis, older student's returning to academia later in life, and student's with different levels of native tech experience.


In 2018 the first step of introducing collaborators is often an icebreaker game. These games try to get groups talking but more often create an uncomfortable environment. WARM is a new introductory experience, built to ease collaboration by incorporating personalized incentives and immersive collaborative experiences.
